{"id":2344,"date":"2015-05-01T15:33:37","date_gmt":"2015-05-01T19:33:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cmv.whelkdev.ca\/?p=2344"},"modified":"2015-05-01T15:33:37","modified_gmt":"2015-05-01T19:33:37","slug":"unesco-chair-in-applied-research-for-education-in-prison-welcomes-the-president-of-the-organization-prisonner-aid-nepal-pa-nepal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cmv-educare.com\/en\/2015\/05\/unesco-chair-in-applied-research-for-education-in-prison-welcomes-the-president-of-the-organization-prisonner-aid-nepal-pa-nepal\/","title":{"rendered":"UNESCO Chair in Applied Research for Education in Prison welcomes the President of the organization Prisonner Aid Nepal (PA Nepal)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>UNESCO Chair in Applied Research for Education in Prison welcomes the President of the organization Prisonner Aid Nepal (PA Nepal)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On last September 18th, the UNESCO Chair in Applied Research for Education in Prison hosted the president of the organization Prisonner Aid Nepal (PA Nepal), Mrs. Indira Rana Magar and visited two institutions specialized in accommodation for women.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cmv-educare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Indira_Maison_Th\u00e9rese-Casgrain2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;\" title=\"Indira_Maison_Th\u00e9rese-Casgrain2\" src=\"https:\/\/cmv-educare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Indira_Maison_Th\u00e9rese-Casgrain2-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Rana Magar visited the Maison Th\u00e9r\u00e8se-Casgrain in collaboration with the General Directorate of Elizabeth Fry Society of Quebec (SEFQ). This halfway house for women serves the Montreal area and southwest of the province of Quebec. It houses about 100 women each year, all of which are in process of reintegration.<\/p>\n<p>Then Mrs. Rana Magar and Jean-Pierre Simoneau, director of operations of the UNESCO Chair in Applied Research for education in prison, visited Joliette Institution thanks to the invaluable collaboration of the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), namely Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Cusson, Coordinator &#8211; Community Outreach (SCC &#8211; regional office in Laval). Joliette is a multi reserved for incarcerated women. Mrs Dominique St-Jean (CSC) kindly accompanied the group during this visit.<\/p>\n<p>All were pleased with the meeting, enriching exchanges and future collaborations.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"margin-left: 10px;\" title=\"Indira_Joliette1\" src=\"https:\/\/cmv-educare.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Indira_Joliette1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>About PA Nepal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PA Nepal helps incarcerated women and their families. It implements various educational programs for men, women and children in prison.
