{"id":1931,"date":"2011-06-09T15:37:19","date_gmt":"2011-06-09T19:37:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cmv.whelkdev.ca\/chaire\/comite-directeur\/"},"modified":"2021-01-07T10:58:53","modified_gmt":"2021-01-07T15:58:53","slug":"steering-committee","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cmv-educare.com\/en\/chair\/steering-committee\/","title":{"rendered":"Steering Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"bold\">The steering committee is the Chair\u2019s authority on strategic direction, validation and arbitration.<\/p>\n<p>Its role is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ensure, with the Chair holder, the Chair\u2019s representation within UNESCO;- adopt the Chair\u2019s charter;<\/li>\n<li>approve the action plan, working lines and annual reports;<\/li>\n<li>ensure the sound financial management of the Chair;<\/li>\n<li>guarantee compliance with the agreement signed between UNESCO and CEGEP Marie-Victorin;<\/li>\n<li>contribute to the Chair\u2019s influence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The committee meets when convened by its chairperson, at least twice a year: one meeting is spent planning the year to come while the other is spent reviewing the report on the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>Committee members have a renewable three-year mandate.<\/p>\n<h3>Steering Committee Chairperson &#8211;
