In the framework of the IX World Assembly which took place from June 11 to 14, 2015 in Montreal, the UNESCO Chair in Applied Research for Education in prison presented on this occasion and with the financial support of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO various speakers from the following countries, Brazil, Senegal, Mexico and Canada which in turn presented their presention on the theme “Education in prison, a meeting to freedom” which the two sub-themes; 1- The political recognition of prison education in your country 2. An example of an innovative practice of education in prison.
